The Brian Riddlebarger Memorial Scholarship

Established by the Riddlebarger family in memory of their son, Brian, this scholarship is administered by COBIDA (Central Ohio Branch of the IDA). It is dedicated to funding teacher training in Structured Literacy.

Because Sensible Learning is an OGA-sanctioned training provider, our trainees are eligible to apply for this fund to help cover the costs of Associate-level coursework and supervised observations. This scholarship is a tribute to the power of the right intervention at the right time.

  • Eligibility: Central Ohio educators committed to OG certification.

  • How to Apply: Visit the COBIDA Educator Page and look for the Brian Riddlebarger Memorial Scholarship application.

  • Check Back: Application windows may vary; we recommend checking the COBIDA site in January.
